Ice Conditions Index for the Arctic
ADAC researchers are developing an ice condition index for the Arctic USCG operators and mariners. The Arctic Ice Condition Index (ARCTICE) will be a high-resolution guidance and decision support tool for Arctic-bound ships that will provide ice forecasts using localized aggregate environmental conditions as input for an algorithm. This tool will aid in safe ship travel through specific areas.
